V1 Adding a Party in TrustLayer

You can add a new party in Trust Layer by navigating to the Party's Drawer from the dashboard, selecting "New Party," entering party details, and clicking "Create Party."

1️⃣ Step 1: Navigate to the Party's Drawer – From the dashboard, go to the Party’s Drawer and click "New Party."

2️⃣ Step 2: Enter Party Details – Input the party name, such as "Bob’s Burgers," and select the appropriate party type (e.g., vendor, contractor, subcontractor, tenant). This determines compliance requirements.

3️⃣ Step 3: Add Contact Information – Enter the contact name and email for communication regarding contracts, insurance, or leases.

4️⃣ Step 4: Create the Party – Click "Create Party" to finalize the entry. You can also create a party using the dashboard shortcut.

💡 Common Issue 1: Can't find the "New Party" option → Solution: Ensure you're in the Party’s Drawer from the dashboard.

💡 Common Issue 2: Missing compliance requirements → Solution: Verify that the correct party type is selected, as it determines compliance settings.
