(NOTE: Attributes help identify and categorize Parties, Projects, or Requests (e.g., Vendor ID, State, Scope of Work). These are reportable and filterable fields that improve organization.)
Go to the dropdown menu in the top left of the page, then click Workspace Settings.
Click the Attributes tab on the left sidebar. Here you will be able to create and edit attributes.
Attributes are divided into three categories:
Party Attributes: These are tied to a specific company or vendor and store details such as Vendor Number, Trade Type, and Risk Level.
Project Attributes: These are project-specific details that can be assigned to a job, such as Project Manager or Project Number
Request Attributes: Specific requirement to a request.
To create a new attribute:
Click the blue + New Attribute button under the respective category tab (Project, Party, or Request).
Enter an Attribute Name and set a Type (e.g., text, dropdown, number field). (NOTE: Number field only allows numbers within it and the Dropdown field is for pre-populated options to select from while the Text field will be your most versatile option allowing for text of any kind.)
You can set a Color to differentiate that Attribute field from others you create.
You can use the Required toggle to indicate whether this Attribute will be mandatory to be filled out or not.
Once done, click the blue Create Attribute button at the top right to save it.
To enter the values for your specific Attribute fields you created, do the following:
If it’s a Party Attribute:
Go to your Parties list outside of the Settings.
Then, click on the Party name to enter the Party Profile page and select the Attributes tab. There all your created Attributes will appear.
Click the Edit button to the right of the Attribute Name in order to enter an Attribute value.
Then, click the blue Save button to lock in that value or the Cancel button if you made a mistake.
If it’s a Project Attribute:
