STEP 4: Review a Document

You can review documents from the dashboard, party profile, or project view

Accessing Documents to Review

You can start a review from 3 locations:

  • Dashboard > “Review Documents” (shows all pending reviews)

  • Party View > “Documents” tab (shows that party’s documents)

  • Project View > “Documents” tab (shows docs tied to a project)

Reviewing the Document

  1. Select a document from the left-hand column.

  2. The document preview appears in the middle.

  3. On the right, you’ll see the compliance checklist.

Marking Requirements

  1. Click Edit beside a requirement.

  2. Check off what's present.

  3. Add start and expiration dates (this enables tracking).

    • For always-valid documents (like W-9s), select “Always Valid”.

  4. Click Save—the status dot will turn green once compliant.

Finishing the Review

  • Click “Mark as Reviewed” when done. This removes the banner and updates the queue.

  • If the document didn’t extract properly, click “Re-evaluate Requirements” to rerun extraction.
