5️⃣ Step 5: (Recommended) Enter Name

Add the team member’s name for better identification and communication within TrustLayer.

6️⃣ Step 6: Send Invite

Click "Invite" to send an email invitation. The new member will appear in your team roster once they accept.

3. Troubleshooting & FAQs

💡 Common Issue 1:

Can't find the "Team" section in settings.

Solution: Ensure you are in the correct workspace and have the necessary permissions to manage team members.

💡 Common Issue 2:

Unclear about user roles and permissions.

Solution:

  • Admin Owner: Full privileges, can manage all settings, add/remove members, and is required for each organization.

  • Team Member: Can receive document upload notifications, create reports, make changes, and manage team members (but not upgrade privileges above their own).

  • Observer: Can create reports and manage team members, but does not receive upload notifications and cannot upgrade privileges above their own.

  • Viewer: Read-only access, can view information, upload documents, and comment, but cannot make changes or manage team members.

💡 Common Issue 3:

Name field is marked optional but seems important.

Solution: While optional, it is best practice to enter a name so team members can be easily identified and mentioned in activity timelines.
