1. Quick Answer
✔️ You can use the Make Compliant feature to mark one or multiple compliance requests as compliant, creating a system-generated document that tracks the action and applies expiration dates.
2. Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Navigate to Parties – Go to the Parties tab in your TrustLayer workspace.
2️⃣ Select Parties or Vendors – Choose one or multiple parties/vendors whose requests you want to mark compliant.
3️⃣ Apply Make Compliant – Click More > Make Compliant, then confirm your action.
4️⃣ Review the Compliance Circles – Once applied, the requests’ compliance circles will turn green, showing compliance status.
5️⃣ Check the Generated Document – The system automatically creates a document tied to each request, showing:
Who created it
When it was created
What request it applies to
Relevant expiration dates
6️⃣ Finalize by Marking as Reviewed – Open the document and click Mark as Reviewed. The compliance status will remain active until the expiration date.
3. Troubleshooting & FAQs
💡 Common Issue 1: “The document shows an unexpected expiration date.”
→ Solution: If the system doesn’t find valid expiration data, it defaults to one year from today. Otherwise, it uses the next available expiration date.
💡 Common Issue 2: “The compliance circle isn’t turning green.”
→ Solution: Confirm that you selected the correct party and requests, then reapply Make Compliant. Make sure to mark the document as reviewed.
