Step 1: Open Your Workspace
Log in to your TrustLayer workspace using the credentials provided to you.
You'll begin on the Dashboard.
Step 2: Review the Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a real-time snapshot of your compliance program.
As your workspace becomes active, you'll use the Dashboard to:
View compliance activity
Monitor outstanding Requests
Access quick navigation shortcuts
Tip: A new workspace may not contain enough data to populate dashboard metrics yet.
Step 3: Understand the TrustLayer Structure
TrustLayer is organized into four primary areas:
Parties
The businesses or organizations you're collecting compliance from.
Projects
Optional containers used when compliance varies by job or location.
Requests
The compliance container connecting a Party to required documents.
Documents
Certificates of Insurance and supporting documentation.
Step 4: Review Workspace Settings
Navigate to:
Organization Name → Workspace Settings

Step 5: Invite Team Members
Navigate to:
Workspace Settings → Team
Select:
New Team Member
Complete:
Email Address
Name
Role
Select Invite.
Step 6: Review Compliance Profiles
Navigate to:
Workspace Settings → Compliance Profiles
Review:
Existing Compliance Profiles
Assigned Party Types
Insurance Requirements
Do not make changes unless instructed.
