4. Managing Your Trustlayer Workspace

Learn how to efficiently maintain your compliance program after implementation.


Edit Records

You can edit:

Parties

  • Business Information

  • Party Type

  • Tags

  • Attributes

  • Notes

  • Portal Messages

Projects

  • Name

  • Dates

  • Attributes

Requests

  • Compliance Profiles

  • Assignments

  • Request Details


Collaborate Using Flags

Open a document.

Select:

Flag

You can:

  • Highlight a section

  • Add comments

  • Set severity

  • Notify another user with an @Mention


Perform Bulk Actions

Select multiple records.

Choose:

  • Send Requests

  • Enable Automations

  • Other available bulk actions

Best Practice: After sending Requests in bulk, perform a second bulk action to enable Automations.


Create Reports

Navigate to:

Parties

Apply the desired Filters.

Select:

Save View

To export:

  • Select the three-dot menu.

  • Choose Export.

To automate reports:

  • Select Create Scheduled Report.

  • Choose recipients and frequency.

  • Save.


Update Compliance Profiles

When requirements change:

  1. Duplicate the existing Compliance Profile.

  2. Rename the duplicate.

  3. Make your updates.

  4. Assign the new profile to future Requests.

Avoid editing active Compliance Profiles whenever possible.
