How to Enable/Disable Automations in Bulk
Updated over a week ago

Automations help streamline your workflow by automatically sending out Expiring Document Reminders and Document Request Reminders. Instead of sending a notification to each Party manually, you can utilize Automations to send notifications to Parties based on cadences that have been set up in the System Settings.

There are two Automations you can enable/disable for a party - "Expiring Document Reminders" and "Document Reminders"

"Expiring Document Reminders" is an automation that identifies when an expiration date is approaching for a specific document. It allows you to create an outreach cadence to remind the relevant parties to update their documents before and after expiration. The system will cease sending notifications if the newly uploaded documents fall outside of the predetermined expiration window set in the automation or if the cadence is completed.

"Document Reminder" is an automation that enables you to manually enroll parties into an outreach cadence. This mechanism ensures that parties are reminded to provide the necessary documents as required. By default, it's toggled off for parties. Once it is turned on it will start the outreach cadence. Once the party uploads a document the "Document Reminders" will toggle off and the party will be automatically removed from the automation.

NOTE: Its recommended to not turn on "Document Reminders" automation if the party is compliant as this will send unnecessary reminders to that party.

How to Enable/Disable Automations in Bulk

1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.

2 If you would like to enable/disable Automations for all of your parties, skip to step 3. Apply filters to filter through the parties you would like to enable/disable Automations. For example if you would like to only add Automations for Non-compliant parties, click the Filter button, then select Compliance status. Next, check the box Non-compliant.

3 Click the box next to Name. This will select all of the items currently listed on the page.

4 Click on the drop down next to the # selected.

5 From the dropdown click Select All.

6 After all items are selected, click More

7 From the dropdown click Enable or Disable automation

8 Within the popup, select between Document Reminders or Expiring Document Reminders

Note: "Document Reminder" automation puts parties in an outreach cadence. "Expiring Document Reminder" is an automation that identifies when an expiration date is approaching for a specific document and a reminder will go out to the party before expiration.

9 Once you've selected the automation, click the blue Enable or Disable button at the bottom right of the popup.
