The Compliance tab is 1 of 6 tabs located on the profile page for each of your individual Parties. This tab offers certain visibility and access to actions that directly impact the Compliance Profile assigned to the specific Party you're in. You can also see a detailed breakdown of which Modules, Requirement Groups, and specific Requirements of your overall Compliance Profile are compliant vs. non-compliant.

Compliance Summary

This section shows where the Party currently stands in regard to compliance. You can click the Compliance Tracker, which is the circle in the Compliance tab that indicates how many of the requirement groups are compliant in comparison to the total number of requirement groups. This will give you a quick snapshot of which overall Requirement Groups within your Compliance Profile are Compliant vs. Non-Compliant. The Green checkmarks indicate Compliance while the Red Xs indicate Non-Compliance.

Compliance Profile

This section simply shows the Name of the specific Compliance Profile assigned to the Party. By clicking the Pencil Icon, you can enter into the edit window which will allow you to make changes to the Compliance Profile, essentially creating a Custom Compliance Profile for that specific Party. It also allows you to assign this specific Party to an existing Compliance Profile.

Active Documents

On the right-hand side, you will find the section for all the Active Documents assigned to the Party. This section will be sorted by the Requirement Groups that each document applies to for that Party so that the document and applicable Requirement Group are next to one another.

There are also Icons associated with the Active Documents in this section:

  • Clock Icon - This indicates document expiration. A yellow clock means that one or more Requirement Groups (Lines of Coverage) on the document will be expiring in the next 30 days and a red clock means they've already expired. a grey clock indicates that the document is active

  • Flag Icon - This indicates the document has been marked by a TrustLayer user as needing attention. These have a Severity Level based on color such as Low (Blue), Medium (Orange), and High (Red). The definition for each Severity Level is set by the Organization.

  • Check Mark Icon - This indicates the Document Verification feature has been utilized which means the document has been verbally or digitally verified from the issuer by a TrustLayer user with regards to the validity of the policies and dates represented on the COI.

Lastly, this section will also have To Review marked on any document that still needs to undergo the Document Review process. Simply click on that document and you'll be taken to the Document Review page. If the To Review toggle is not showing, it means the Document has already been Reviewed.

NOTE: The Compliance Status should not be considered final till all the documents for that Party have been Reviewed.

Compliance Module

This section shows the top level of the Requirement hierarchy. Examples include: Evidence of Insurance, IRS Forms, Licenses and Permits, and any other Custom Modules you want to add during the Compliance Profile creation process.

Requirement Group

This section shows the next level of the Requirement hierarchy as Requirement Groups reside within Modules. Examples include Commercial General Liability (CGL), Automobile Liability (AL), Workers' Compensation (WC) which reside in the Evidence of Insurance Module or a W-9 which resides in the IRS Forms Module .

Carrier Information

This section shows information such as the Carrier Name, NAIC number, Policy Number, and the AM Best Rating. All the information is taken from the uploaded documents for that Party and separated by the specific Requirement Groups that they apply to.

The As Found In Document section below it outlines which specific document(s) all the information, including matched Requirements, are located in.

Calls to Action

If needed, at the top right, you'll find 3 Actions you can perform from this tab that impact the Party directly:

  • Upload Documents - This allows you to upload any document and have it be assigned directly to the Party.

  • Send Document Request - This allows you to edit/customize a Document Request Email to be sent directly to the Primary Contact(s) associated to the Party.

  • Review Documents - This allows you to enter the Document Review page where you can begin the review process for any Active documents for the Party.
