The Document Request feature allows you to reach out to third parties directly from the TrustLayer platform to request additional documentation when their current documentation is missing, expiring, or has expired.
1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.
2 Locate the Party you'd like to send a request to by scrolling or typing in the search bar, then click on the name of the Party to select it.
3 Located on the right side of the screen, you can find the Send reminder button, click on it.
4 In the pop-up modal that appears, start by choosing the Recipient(s).
5 Next, add a Message.
NOTE: This is optional. If you'd like to add additional details or a personal message, you can do so here. The message will appear on the document request landing page.
6 Add Attachments.
NOTE: This is optional. If you'd like to include an example document or a contract, you can do so here.
7 Set Due Date
NOTE: This is optional. The due date will be displayed on the document request landing page.
8 Next, Click the Customize Email tab. Here you can personalize the document request by changing the Subject, Heading, Body, Footer, or Disclaimer sections of the email.
NOTE: Where you see {{ organizationName }} appear is where the name of your company that's making the request will appear.
9 Under the Preview Email tab, you can see what the email will look like to the receiver.
10 Return to the Send tab, then click Confirm and Send at the bottom right.

Note: Alternatively, you can click on the Paper Airplane icon at the top right to send a Document Request.
Sending a Doc Request from the Party List view
1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.
2 Locate the Party you'd like to send a request to, then click the Paper Airplane icon on the right side of the respective row.
3 In the pop-up modal that appears, start by choosing the Recipient(s).
4 Next, add a Message.
